San Diego is a coastal market, which changes what matters on a used inspection. We aren't fighting Midwest road salt and rusted-out subframes here. The systems our techs check first on any trade-in here are different from a salt-belt inspection:
Sun exposure. Interior surfaces can go brittle and crack after years of sun exposure, so we check them before any car goes on the line.
